  My personal logo is a representation of my creative spirit and how I want to be meaningful with the work that I produce . I use a variety of bright colors to illustrate meaning for the colors and how they represent me personally. The balance between my personal initials being implemented into the design and the basic logo shows the creative process. My logo is a reflection of myself and how I like to live my life.

 For me, b eing in a state of play means being in a completely calm and worry-free mindset of creativity and joy . This means being very present in the moment and not concerned about other things that might cause stress. Also, no mental or physical distractions going on around me. Being in this mindset is the best way to be when you need to be creative and collaborate with others. Ideas and thoughts flow much smoother when in this "state of play". I typically have the freest mind to be creative and come up with my best, original ideas when I am somewhere that makes me very comfortable and relaxed. For me, I have always really enjoyed being around the beach, on a boat, in warm weather, etc... I also usually discover my best ideas when I 'm taking a break from work and allowing my mind to wander free of distractions .  Artist Statement:  I wanted to base my calligram specifically off what is going on in my life right now as I am doing the project. Senior year of high school was a very low point for me, and I felt extremely grown out of my hometown and the people in it. As stated in my letter to my future self, moving to Tampa has changed my life. I feel like I have found myself and found a new home at the same time, and that is the absolute best feeling ever. I truly feel more at home here than I do when I go back to my hometown. While my past and childhood are extremely dear and important to me, I continue to view living here in Tampa as a new opportunity that generates excitement for me every single day to look forward to what things may come my way in the future. I feel like my calligram really represents this story and what it means to me. Seeing the image of the Tampa skyline and zooming in and seeing my words filling it in is really cool for me.  Letter to my future self: Dear future self,
