  When assigned to place myself into a scene of a movie/show using adobe photoshop, this was almost an immediate and easy decision to do the show "Outer Banks" . I have always loved this show and felt very connected with the characters and their lifestyle in the movie because I have spent a lot of time throughout my life in the OBX. Placing myself into this scene felt natural for me because I am always happiest at the beach or by the water and with my friends and this is exactly the vibe of the scene shot that I used for this project. 

 I think of all the images, this one would be the most complex to photoshop myself in because of the very small hairs that are around their heads from the blanket. The very tiny details are what would be difficult.  This image is so great for the ":somewhere" project because this is such an iconic destination and a very classic background for photoshop images and projects like this.  I thought this picture was funny but it looks very difficult to photoshop back to the original.  I thought this is so cool because it would be so hard to get a photo like the on the top because if our current day in age so to be able to get that photo is really cool

 I took this photo while having a blast skiing in Colorado. The whole photo was very dull colors, mostly just black and white and gray from the snow, trees, and clouds. After adding some abstract colors into the image, some of the details really begin to pop.  By adding color to the image , I have added an extra layer of creativity and expression to the piece . The vibrant shades add a sense of life and energy , while also highlighting the beauty of the different shades of grey . This artwork is a reminder of the importance of taking time to reflect on and take in the beauty of every moment .

    My personal logo is a representation of my creative spirit and how I want to be meaningful with the work that I produce . The balance between my personal initials being implemented into the design and the basic logo shows the creative process. My logo is a reflection of myself and how I like to live my life. The tagbrush shows a sort of grain surrounding the logo which I really like. It gives the impression that the logo was thrown down onto something and caused its surroundings to "make way" for it. The logo stands out much more I think in the tagbrush.

  Seeing a photo of people un iting for a common cause in "The People's Portfolio" is a powerful reminder of the strength of humanity and unity . It brings me close to my emotions because it reminds me of the importance of community and working together to achieve a shared goal . In today's society, there are so many things that people disagree on and it seems like that is all we see around us in the media, people clashing and not agreeing on anything so it seems like a big deal to see unity amongst a group of people. It also reminds me of the importance of caring for others , because when we come together , we can make a greater impact . It gives me a sense of hope and optimism for the future and fills me with a sense of purpose and belonging . The photo of me skiing in Bre ck en ridge Colorado is a moment I will always remember .  Video 1 This video is a very short and concise video to help beginners learn to use the platform from a very broad perspective. The video starts with the narrator on how to start a new document and insert a photo into the document and the basics of how to edit the size of the photo. He then shows an example of how to use the basics of what it can do to enhance your document. The narrator of the video uses a variety of pictures throughout the entire video to demonstrate each function. For each function that he explains, he will apply that function to a different photo to show what it does. From this video, I think it will be difficult changing the colors of the photo and being so precise with outlining parts of an image in order to photoshop it.  Video 2 This is a very in-depth video that covers just about all the basics of adobe photoshop. It is a 3-hour video, so full disclosure, I only watched about the first 15 min of it. This first bit of the video goes in-depth on the layers and

 I chose this image (selfie) because it was taken during a very good time in my life and what is going on in the uncropped image is a great representation of who I am as a person. I also chose vaping because it is personal for me. I used to struggle with that and I had serious health affects as a result of vaping. I think when an artist can relate to their work, it makes the passion heightened and results in better work.
